Ok here we are again, 5 days later, with nothing much to say. I hate it when I get to this point, I start to think that everything I say is really boring and pointless. I’m not working again now, on the search again as my previous job was indeed only two weeks temporary. Therefore nothing much is changing right now. I’ve had this blog for almost 4 years. Alot has changed since I began blogging. I’ll get to the point where I want to write about more personal issues but then I don’t because I reconsider the importance of airing my personal life to anyone and everyone.
In a couple of weeks I’m going to be opening some new branches of this site. Both of these are dear to my heart and have been hovering in the background for some time but due to previous commitments have been unable to put them into place. I have every intention of changing that.
My tooth (or lack of) is recovering slowly. I seem to be a very slow healer so everything takes twice as long. We’ve also received notification that the money order sent for our visa petition was cashed on the 6th April so we should get NOA1 notification sometime today or tomorrow!
I went back to the gym today too. The gym and I have been going through some periods of dissagreement for the past few weeks. It’s so hard to motivate yourself to go back after not going for a few weeks. It’s ridiculous because I’m fine once I’m there, the actual going there part is the hard part.

Check this rhythm matching game made by Funpods. Bonobo’s Bongos.
I love the grow game series from Eyemaze. Very cute and a real mind workout!
Jamie Kane. An ARG (Alternative Reality Game) Really well done. The game takes around 15 minutes to play each day and there are 15 days’ worth of puzzles to solve. Give them a few details about yourself and then you become part of the game. I played this a few months back and really got pulled into it.
The Fancy Pants Adventure. An online platform adventure game. Take the speed and grace of Sonic and put him in some fancy pants. Great animation.

I had to go through the unpleasant experience of a dental appointment this morning. A few months ago half of one of my pre-molars broke while eating popcorn. You know those nasty little hard bits that don’t make it to the adult stage of their popped corn lives? Well I was absently fishing my hand into the bowl while watching a movie and accidently chomped hard on one of these, it broke my tooth leaving a sharp edge and only half of it remaining
So after a two month waiting period to get into the dental clinic, this morning was my appointment. The dentist gave me the wonderful news that she would have to pull the tooth because of the damage and because most of it was now at the gum line. Two needles later, one in the cheek and one in the gum and half my face dissapeared into a blissfull numbness. She pryed at my tooth with some sort of crowbar looking implement before requesting the forceps and pulling and wiggling my tooth right out.
It’s not a nice experience, my face is still numb except for a strange tingling feeling in my cheek. I’ve been told no hot drinks for 24 hours and I’m dying for a cuppa. James also seems to have acquired my cold and has gone back to bed. What a pair we make!

Organising a wedding from 10,000 miles away is not an easy task. I can’t just pop down to a reception venue and check out its facilities; sure, let me just get charge that to my no limit credit card. We aren’t going to be in the US until the end of this year so I need to start getting confirmed bookings really soon. What a journey this is going to be!
I don’t even have a confirmed guest list yet but it’s looking to be around the 80 mark, which is not too bad considering the size of our families. My parents will also be flying over for the wedding (I hope) but I’m not sure on any other members of my family yet, probably just Mum and Dad which will be amazing
It’s all still spinning around in my head. I have SO much to organise, prepare and pay for. I have decided on my bridesmaids colours, which will be amethyst as in the pic above. I’ve done a brief stint of shopping for my dress and the bridesmaids, saw some gorgeous dresses, but because I’m also still on my journey to a smaller me then I have no intention of buying it just yet. I’m not even sure how long I have before dress shopping is too late.
The visa is going to add a little more expense 5 months down the track but then everything should be set to go. I’ve never done anything this extravagant in my whole life! I love it!

I haven’t posted here in yonks! What a bad girl I am! I’m suffering dreadfully from some kind of seasonal sneezy watery cold. It welcomed itself into my head two days ago and I’m not sure where it came from, just randomly took hold and sunk its teeth in. Thankfully I believe the worst to be over as I’m actually able to recognise smells again, some welcomed, some not so welcomed, thanks to a schizophrenic cat.
James and I are applying for a K1 visa. I’m sure I touched on us actually applying for a prospective marriage visa before but we have now changed our mind and decided to go the opposite way, we are going to be married in the US. After gathering a mountain of paperwork together and triple checking everything, we sent it off via ECI post on the 24th March. I kept checking the ECI tracking website for its arrival and each day something new with no message of arrival. Finally on the 29th, it was picked up at the post office and into the hands of the USCIS Department. Can’t tell you how excited we were just to know it was on it’s way! Can’t imagine what it’s going to be like when we get the NOA2 or far better, our final consulate interview! It’s really exciting and although it’s quite a long process taking around 4 to 6 months, it’s worth it in every respect
I’ve finished the evening off with a ceremonial dying of my hair. I’ve gone back to a mahogany type shade as I was growing tired of the mousey browness of my natural colour. It’s drying at the moment and the colour is VERY vivid.
