Apparently if you’ve seen more than 85 of these movies, you have no life. Bring on the no life I say! I’ve seen 182. That’s over 300 hours of no life.

I quite liked some of these movies, I own many of them. I truly believe nothing is time wasting when you’re doing something you enjoy.

It has arrived! Finally after weeks of agonising waiting and being more waiting due to even more delays, my gym equipment is heeeere. That’s me squealing with glee.

At the beginning of this blog are many entries regarding my gym addiction, but having moved to a town where express post next day delivery means three days later, gyms here are pretty crap. So now I have my own and now the hard work begins again!

I’m falling in love with books all over again. This week I found LibraryThing. I love this site. I’ve begun the arduous task of cataloging all my books and it’s been an interesting adventure finding a world of new and must read books to put on my to-do list.

I haven’t really had much of a relationship with the book over the past few years but my movie collection is all grown up now. I think my parents are strange because they can’t re-watch a movie or re-read a book, yet I will buy the whole series of something I love and watch it twenty seven times and then some. Or re-visit my favourite book over again. I don’t think it’s necessarily about knowing what the story is or how it ends, I think it’s about finding intricate detail that you missed the first time. I love the intricate detail. I love seeing an expression I didn’t catch before or painting the scene in a whole new light. I become so attached to characters and worlds that I simply must have them at close hand.

For now books have caught my attention again and I’ve even been mulling over tackling some of those huge epics; 1700 odd pages of pure frustration and worth every second.

I had a run in with an out of control nutter a few nights ago. It has taken me two days to get over the stress. Let me explain.

It was about 9:30pm on a Saturday night, James and I decided we would drive to McCafe to get coffee. So I’m heading down the main street and am forced to slow down to about 20kms below speed limit because some ass doesn’t know how to drive properly. This is not unusual where I live, people move about half as quickly in every respect in this town. Big culture shock for me coming from the city, but I digress.

So I’m forced to an agonizing crawl behind this 4WD driver who by now has dropped another 10 at least and then he decides to stop hard right in the middle of the road. He obviously does this because he believes that I am too close to him or something. I’m just trying to drive.. sheesh. So I almost ran into the back of his car. I bite my tongue and continue to stay in a calm manner, I really am getting used to this by now.

4WD idiot seems to then think he can get his boat of a car into a spot about the size of a scooter. He starts to back up. Yep, I’m right behind him and he starts backing up. No indicator, nothing. I’m pretty much pissed at him by now and so I overtake him quickly not to get hit. Finally clear, I can move on with my life. No, not yet I can’t.

I look in the rear vision mirror and there he is, speeding to catch up with me. We pull into McDonald’s and I start to freak out. This guy is flashing his brights as us continuously and revving close behind us. So I do what I think is the best idea and NOT stop. Who knows what this guy is on. However turning out of McDonald’s does not lose this idiot and he continues to chase us. He chased us for a good 10 minutes….He sat behind us flashing his headlights, blinding me, obviously trying to intimidate me, wanted to make himself feel good.

Now if it hadn’t been dark and his headlights hadn’t obstructed my view, I would have taken this guys number plate down and called the police straight away. He was  scaring the crap out of us by the end of it. Luckily I lost him when I drove past the police station, funny that. I didn’t want to stop the car in case he wanted to continue his rage in person.

I want to know, who the hell does that? There were about three people in the car, one of them was female, and what looked like a kid in the back seat for gods sake. What a poor excuse for a human. I got home and felt really sick all night.

We did finally get our coffee. Although by then, we really weren’t feeling like it.
